Project Food, Land & People

Project Food, Land and People has 55 Pre-K through 12th grade lessons that are a part of the nationally developed supplementary curriculum. The hands-on lessons are objective in content and promote the development of critical thinking skills so that students can better understand the interrelationships among the environment, agriculture and people of the world.

Several Food, Land and People workshops are being scheduled for this summer.

The lessons were created and written by educators for educators and were rigorously tested and evaluated across the nation.

Workshop participants will receive the entire curriculum in CD format, plus North Dakota specific materials and information about available resources.

These are fun, interactive workshop, designed to unleash your imagination and creativity.

The course will cost $90 if you want the credit from NDSU and $40 if you do not want the credit.

Credit is available for one 600-level credit through NDSU. A limited number of stipends will be awarded for early registration. A minimum of ten teachers are needed for a workshop to be held.
